Everyone did such a great job at our last performance! The dances looked awesome! We will be starting our Jazz dances this week and hopefully have some new dancers of the month.
Sunshine Dance was established in 1977 by Debra E. Johnson. Debbie grew up dancing and fell in love with it. In high school she was one of four varsity cheerleaders and was known for her awesome toyota jump! After she graduated she attended Southern Utah University where she performed "Adagio" which is an acrobatic dance performed with a partner. When Debbie settled down and started her own family she decided to open her own dance and clogging studio. She taught dance for many years and is still teaching her award winning Color Country Cloggers. She has passed the tradition and love of teaching dance down to her daughters. We are so grateful to her for the wonderful teacher that she was to us, and for the opportunity we have to carry on this great tradition! Thanks Mom!
Love,
